Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I have been busy.
So anyways, I had a pretty interesting weekend. I was invited to go skiing with a fourth grader of all people, but of course I said yes. The first day we went skiing at +Squaw Valley Ski Resort. Her other friend was there and she was not a good skier. We were stuck in the same, easy routed run the whole time!!!!!!! I am really mad. Then the next day we go to +Homewood Mountain Resort and they certainly have the best views but the runs are a bit easy. But the fourth grader I went skiing with is a beginner and a drama queen so every time she feel it was apparently the end of the world. We went powdering and she fell and acted like one of those old people from the life alert ads.
And today we went skiing with our class. We had a few mishaps. I went skiing with three other girls in my class, Camille, Gabby, and Jordan. We took a bad turn and went down an icy trail. Jordan went through this place with lots of bumps and fell. Both her skis released and her poles fell of too. I went to go get her but then I was about to crash into a big ball of icy snow. I stopped fell and one of my skis released too. I put mine on with ease but Jordan's would absolutely not come on. Me and Camille went a bit further down when Camille fell and her ski released. That was the time when I was about to wet my pants because I have had a lot of water earlier. So gabby came down with me to pee and it took Jordan maybe 20 to 40 minutes to get her skis back on.
After lunch, us four girls, and two other boys named Grant and Peter went up to the bowl with us. On our second run, we decided to the trail with many HUGE mogles the size of us. Gabby was on the beginner side of skiing and I was going slow to watch out for her. I can't do mogles at the slow speed I was going so then I took a bad fall. My skis were crossed and I didn't know what to do. After sitting there for a while a man came to help me up he took of only one of my skis and then accidentally dropped it. Down the hill my ski goes! I try to scoot down but my skis were facing the right side and I was at the end of the trail. I turned my ski around before realizing my boot was on the outer side, the side I should have all my weight on. So I was there for an estimated 20 minutes until the ,an came up with my ski. Not the best of experiences. Plus, I even got sunburned!
